HSOC Business Development Event
On October 3, 2002, the Henry Shaw Ozark Corridor
Foundation held a Business Development Event at
the Anheuser Busch Centre, (Soccer Park) in Fenton.
We would like to extend our gratitude to Anheuser
Busch for hosting and catering this event!
Areas of discussion were:
- Seeding interchanges in Prairie plantings
- Saving the Allenton Bus Stop from demolition
and moving it to its new location
at the Shaw Nature Reserve
- Coordinating the transfer of stonework for
the preservation of historic landmarks
- Official designation of Highway I-44 as the
"Henry Shaw Ozark Corridor"
- Planning a Reception at the Shaw Nature Reserve
next summer on July 25, 2003, Henry Shaw's birthday
with the governor and other dignitaries
- Having the highway signage in place by this
time next year
- Inviting interested and significant parties
within the corridor to be represented on our
Foundation Board of Directors
